Product Content Specialist III

Product Content Specialist III will manage and enhance technical product content for Thermo Fisher Scientific's global web platform, focusing on accuracy, structure, and discoverability. The role involves coordinating product launches, applying scientific expertise in molecular biology and genomics, and collaborating across business and technical teams to support customer decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new product launches by collecting and reviewing product attributes, descriptions, and images from internal divisions
- Publish accurate, complete product information following corporate style standards and brand guidelines
- Apply scientific knowledge to interpret technical specifications, applications, and molecular biology or genomics terminology
- Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and data-quality issues; partner with stakeholders to resolve and validate information
- Optimize product attributes, taxonomy, and terminology to strengthen consistency and discoverability across digital platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, or related scientific field
- 5+ years experience with genomics, molecular biology, chromatography technical product information, or product data management
- Strong spelling, grammar, editing skills with exceptional attention to scientific and technical accuracy
- Experience with product information management (PIM), content management systems (CMS), or structured product data
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify patterns, gaps, and content improvement opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication with scientific, technical, and business stakeholders
- Self-motivated with strong project management and ability to handle multiple priorities
