Employment commitment to Samaritan is required.Job Summary/PurposeFunctions to serve as an advocate, educator and coordinator of services for at-risk patients.Department DescriptionThe Women's Health teams at Samaritan Health Services offer a full range of OB/GYN care including well-woman exams, contraception management, obstetric care, infertility treatment, menopause and hormones, continence therapy, pelvic prolapse therapy and repair, treatment for uterine disorders, treatment for menstrual disorders, treatment for gynecologic cancers and gynecologic/urologic surgery.Experience/Education/QualificationsCurrent unencumbered Oregon LPN license required. One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting required. Two (2) years LPN experience preferred. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within 90 days of hire. Experience in the following preferred:Outpatient, ambulatory care and/or community healthcare.Care coordination.A primary care related setting.Chronic conditions.Electronic medical information systems.Bilingual preferred.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesPatient Care - Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others.
