Preschool Teacher – Early Childhood Education Location: The Learning Experience – Canton, MI
Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and early school-readiness skills.

We're looking for an educator who enjoys making learning meaningful through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and consistent classroom routines.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging preschool learning activities and daily routines

• Support early literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development

• Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships

• Guide children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions

• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom

• Communicate regularly with families

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership

• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous preschool, daycare, or childcare experience preferred

• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Dependable, nurturing, and team-oriented

• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
