Weekday Caregiver Needed – Stroke Recovery & Companionship | Irving, TX Location: Irving, TX 75063 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Position: Full-Time | Steady Daytime Hours Do you enjoy making a positive difference in someone's day through kindness, conversation, and compassionate care? Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a caring, personable, and dependable caregiver to support a gentleman in Irving who is recovering from a recent stroke. This position is ideal for someone who values one-on-one caregiving, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and wants a reliable weekday schedule. Being social and engaging is especially important for this assignment. Verbal interaction is part of the client's recovery routine, so we're looking for someone who enjoys conversation, offers encouragement, and can help create a positive and comfortable environment throughout the day. What You'll Do You'll provide personalized assistance while encouraging the client to maintain his comfort, independence, and daily routine. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Helping with safe mobility and transfers as needed
• Preparing meals and providing mealtime assistance when necessary
• Offering companionship through friendly conversation and positive interaction
• Encouraging the client to participate in his established daily routine
• Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Noticing changes in the client's needs and communicating concerns to the appropriate team member

Who We're Looking For We're seeking a caregiver who is reliable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely enjoys spending time with the person in their care. The ideal candidate will:

• Be available consistently Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Have experience with personal care and activities of daily living
• Feel comfortable assisting a client recovering from a stroke
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy meaningful conversation
• Be patient, supportive, and respectful of the client's pace and abilities
• Be comfortable around dogs, as there is a dog in the home
• Value consistency and enjoy building trust with one client over time
