This role is responsible for advising prospective and existing clients on insurance options, including quoting, presenting, and closing insurance policies that match their needs. Day-to-day tasks include handling inbound and outbound calls, conducting coverage reviews, preparing proposals, and following up on leads generated through various channels. The Insurance Sales Representative will build and maintain client relationships, provide ongoing customer service support on policy changes and renewals, and collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of service. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in agency systems, staying current with carrier products and underwriting guidelines, and contributing to a positive, collaborative office culture. Qualifications Strong Insurance Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close business ethically and effectively. Solid understanding of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage practices, including coverage types, carrier options, and basic underwriting concepts. Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on listening, empathy, and clear communication in person, by phone, and in writing. Ability to build long-term client relationships, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Active Florida insurance license (or willingness and eligibility to obtain one within a defined timeframe). Comfort using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software for documentation and follow-up. High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a commitment to team collaboration and community-focused service.
