Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining each procedure thoughtfully and attentively
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnoses
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, providing prompt communication about any issues
• Document procedures meticulously and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on new developments in ultrasound techniques and imaging best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desired

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
