Elliott Tool Technologies is seeking an Applications Specialist to provide Tier II product and application training and support for our external and internal customers. If you enjoy solving customer challenges and you're ready to do work that really matters, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Solve customer challenges by providing product, application, and technical support at a profit.
\n
• Commission and train in the field by traveling to customer sites to commission new equipment, train customers, and provide field warranty support. Expect 30% to 35% travel, typically scheduled for you around customer commitments and often concentrated in stretches rather than spread evenly through the year.

• Own the Voice of the Customer by managing VOC cases and leading continuous improvement efforts with teammates to resolve customer challenges.
\n
• Grow our beta program by partnering with Sales to recruit and manage beta test sites.
\n
• Shape new products by collaborating with Marketing and Engineering to develop and trial new products at beta test sites.
\n
• Teach what you know by facilitating product and application training for Elliott team members and customers, and developing new content as needed.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You are the go-to specialist for tube tools. First thing, a teammate needs help quoting a major US fabricator with specific questions about their condenser expanders. You get on the phone with their Lean Manufacturing Engineer, learn that their current expanders need custom modifications and often malfunction, and recommend Elliott's 24 Series Condenser Expanders, walking through the nylon pilot, five rolls, and thin wall collar. The customer trials them on site, expanding roughly 1,300 tube ends over two days, and comes back impressed with the quality of the rolled joints, the labor savings, and the ease of use. They place a sizeable order and book a training session with you. That afternoon you schedule the onsite training and set up the hands-on portion of next week's new-hire session in our Solution Center. The next morning in the Sales Team meeting, the Area Sales Manager shares a referral from that same customer and asks you to join the qualification call.
