Catering Server Lead / Supervisor

Sifted is hiring a Service Lead to support day-to-day leadership and key areas of the Sifted community operations. Seattle, one of Sifted’s largest markets, is quickly expanding, and needs an individual with a natural inclination towards leadership and responsibility to fill our Service Lead position. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in our kitchen environment by aiding the Community Manager with kitchen opening and shift operations, owning kitchen closing, and act as a source of encouragement and support to the Host team. This position requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Responsibilities Leading the community team through kitchen opening, shift operations, and kitchen closing Leading and coordinating host load in and out Serving as the lead host for the lunch or dinner shift Taking service as necessary Ensuring the host feedback survey is completed each shift and communicating updates to the Operations Associate daily Coordinating with donation and compost pick up partners each day Presenting to the team as a source of leadership, encouragement, and support Qualifications 1+ year experience in service/catering or brand ambassador industries, or an equivalent role Operationally minded Highly organized and resourceful Ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Natural leadership tendencies Loves problem solving Maintains a high degree of reliability and trustworthiness Benefits Compensation: $27 per hour Company-sponsored health insurance plans, including 100% company-paid HDHP, as well as vision and dental opt‑in 80 hours of PTO with each year of employment; paid winter break from Dec 24 — Jan 1 Free lunch during meal service Opportunities to take on larger roles within our organization and learn with a fast‑growing start‑up Eligibility & Working Conditions Must maintain a Seattle Food Service card (company-paid) and be able to drive a company vehicle with a valid driver’s license Position based both in a commercial kitchen and on-site in client offices Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, squat, and reach #J-18808-Ljbffr Sifted, LLC
