Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Tallahassee, FL. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a fully accredited healthcare facility. The role includes performing procedures such as aerosol treatments, Bipap management, ventilator management, and participating in interdisciplinary patient care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); valid state licensure; no minimum years of experience specified.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RT department utilizes advanced ventilators, bedside analyzers, and other technologies. RTs rotate through all inpatient units, including ICUs, and participate in team rounding, working closely with multiple disciplines to enhance patient care.
