Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent functions as a working leader to coordinate the tasks, activities, supplies and equipment of locksmiths.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Must adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Installs, repairs, rebuilds and services mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices.
• Disassembles locks and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs and other parts.
• Performs required and preventive maintenance on card "swipe" locks.
• Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination.
• Cuts new or duplicate keys and key cards; generates master for key cards.
• Moves lockpick in cylinder to open door locks without keys; opens safe locks by drilling. Prepares work schedule and payroll; processes Leave requests; maintains and submits records as appropriate.
• Maintains records and logs of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's locks and corresponding keys for key control system.
• Interacts with Tribal Gaming Commission and Security department to ensure integrity of security system.
• Monitors and maintains inventory of cut keys, blanks and locks; generates requisitions for replenishment as necessary.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and 1 year of casino experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
