Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) with rotating weekends approximately every 3-4 weeks. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who is collaborative and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with various diagnoses including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, strokes, orthopedic conditions, and chronic disorders.
• Provide focused therapy interventions to help patients achieve functional independence.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Assist in the assessment and treatment planning for both inpatient and outpatient services throughout the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• WA state licensure in hand at submission.
• Prior experience in inpatient rehab (IPR) is a bonus.
• Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
