As a Security Officer Screener in Temple, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support smooth daily operations. This role combines visible presence, customer service, communication, and routine activity to help reduce security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, screening alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and support orderly site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
