Digifabshop Finishers are responsible for implementing a wide variety of finishing applications and cosmetic repairs for wood, metal, and composite materials under the direction and guidance of the Finishing Lead. True perfectionists, Digifabshop finishers have an unparalleled eye for detail.Duties / Responsibilities:Sprays, brushes, or hand rubs finishing ingredients such as paint, oil, lacquer, stain, or wax onto wood, metal, and other materialsOperates, monitors and maintains Makor Q-One spray-finishing machine for production job finishingMixes and prepares finish according to manufacturer specifications and desired outcomePrepares all surfaces to be finished and masks all areas where finish will not be appliedTreats, recolors, fills, or otherwise repairs damaged or defective areas in a variety of stockPerforms all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with OSHA industry standardsExamining finished products and finishing processes to evaluate their quality and effectivenessBalance quality and timeliness while carrying out shop assignments; ensuring that finishing products are not wasted unnecessarilyProficient in use of electronic communication.Proactively seeks continuous improvement and professional development.Meaningfully contribute to team meetings, training, policies, strategy and culturePerform other related duties as required.Required Skills / Abilities:Visual Discrimination – The ability to match or detect differences in color, texture, and pattern both subtle and obviousManual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate, inspect, or assemble objectsExcellent oral and written communication skillsThe ability to identify complex problems and development innovative solutionsAttentive, considerate, inquisitive and empathetic to othersExceptional time management skillsLifelong learner & team playerPossess a willingness to teach others who are less experiencedFast paced, energetic environmentEducation and Experience:Previous experience, or on-the-job training required.1-2 years of relevant industry experienceAuto Detailing Experience PreferredAuto Detail Experience PreferredWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noises.
