The Store Manager will oversee a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees, ensuring efficient store operations during standard business hours. This role focuses on driving sales through effective upselling and cross-selling strategies, maintaining excellent customer service, and managing daily store activities while utilizing retail-specific management software. The Store Manager will have minimal involvement in vendor interactions and will lead efforts in staff development and visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of 6-15 staff members to achieve store objectives
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Monitor sales performance and implement upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Conduct staff training and development to improve skills and efficiency
- Oversee daily store operations ensuring smooth workflow during standard business hours
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
