Hospital: Location: Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Johnston-Willis Hospital Address:1401 Johnston-Willis Drive, Richmond, Virginia Unit Name: Radiation Oncology Building: Sarah Cannon Building Cost Center:76437 General Information Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : Treat ~ 45-55 patients/day on 2 linacs
• Patient Ratios : 2 radiation therapists per machine
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 2 Front desk; 2-3 RNs; 5 therapists, 2 dosimetrists, 2 physicists, 1 dietitian, 1 social worker, 1 director
• Type of equipment : 2 TrueBeam linear accelerators; 1 Client CT Sim, Elekta HDR
• Documentation system: ARIA
• Scheduling requirements: Monday-Friday; start time is 7:30am-~4:00-4:30pm
• Floating policy:N/A
• Patient Experience requirements: Press Ganey scores ~95%

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: ACR accredited for radiation oncology; Commission on Cancer accredited; NAPBC accredited

Hiring profile Requested Skill Set:



Must have :
Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• TrueBeam experience (at least 3 years)
• Align RT (Vision RT) (surface guidance)
• ARIA experience

Advanced skills needed:

• DIBH

Procedures performed on unit:

• VMAT
• SBRT
• Surface Guidance

Certifications Required:

• AART

Dress Code : (Required uniform)

• Caribbean blue scrubs
