• Compensation : $17.00/hr
• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as needed
• Contract : 6 month temp-to-hire with strong opportunity to convert into full time.

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Unloading incoming shipments safely and efficiently, verifying shipments against bills of lading and packing lists, and inspecting materials.
• Collaborating with purchasing and other departments to resolve shipment discrepancies and documenting any damages.
• Accurately recording received materials and entering information into ERP systems within 24 hours.
• Packaging and unpacking materials, stocking and pulling parts from storage, and ensuring correct and efficient outbound shipping.
• Maintaining accurate filing and archiving of shipping and receiving documents while following established warehouse processes.
• Upholding a clean, organized workspace and complying with safety requirements.
• Operating forklifts to transport goods (if certified) and utilizing basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Supporting all shipping and receiving functions and assisting with additional duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma/GED, and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience in material handling.
• Are able to stand, walk, kneel, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. (heavier with assistance).
• Can work overtime, including weekends and evenings, when needed.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable with logistics terminology.
• Display high attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a willingness to cross-train.
• Bring previous forklift experience or certification (preferred), familiarity with ERP systems, and basic computer proficiency.
