Position Summary Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling day‑to‑day tasks; complete quality inspections; supervise sub‑contractors and field engineers. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects Provides critical information about the current status of a project and accurately estimates how it will finish from a cost and revenue perspective from where it started Works closely with Walkers/Superintendents regarding project planning, field leadership, work plan development, submissions, and approvals Conducts recurring team meetings to stay aligned with the expectations and goals of a project Manages complex material supplies and drafts scopes of work for subcontractors Develop work plans and hazard analysis plans for crews to follow to execute the work safely Understands and promotes innovation for cost and schedule improvements Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and productivity goals Performs complex construction designs - SOE, Hydraulics, PLC, Marine, etc. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. Ability to relocate as needed Required Skills Demonstrate the ability and behavior necessary to lead others in accomplishing individual and team goals.
