Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Rainsville, AL

Pay Range: $15

Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM *some afternoon and Saturday overtime may be required at times

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of coil winding equipment, including hand-guided bench lathe machines and two-layer coil operations such as Bachi, Broomfield, and hand winders.
• Prepare coils for final stages of building and testing, including bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires/lugs with lugs or crimps.
• Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools to ensure proper connections.
• Operate a robotic welder and utilize epoxy and silica sand for transformer potting, maintaining waste levels within acceptable limits.
• Utilize lift assist equipment to move products weighing more than 50 pounds and participate in physical inventory activities.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
