Key Responsibilities

• Employ radiography and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
• Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnostics
• Position patients accurately and meticulously adjust equipment settings
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
• Keep detailed records, including imaging documents and maintenance logs
• Provide empathetic care and support for patients during imaging procedures
• Foster a safe, well-organized, and efficient imaging environment

Education and Credential Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
• Completion of an accredited radiology program

Certification Requirements

• Certification by ARRT (Radiography and/or CT)
• Valid BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment

Essential Skills

• In-depth understanding of diagnostic imaging processes and safety standards
• Strong communication abilities with both patients and healthcare team members
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing circumstances
• Attention to detail, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility
