Position Summary

As a Therapist at Blackbird Health, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers. You’ll build meaningful relationships with patients and families, taking the time to understand their needs, support engagement in treatment, and educate them on therapeutic approaches that foster long-term progress. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you’ll be empowered to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young patients and their families through compassionate, evidence-based care. We’re seeking dedicated clinicians to join our team and provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26, as well as the caregivers who support them. Multiple employment tracks are available: you’ll select your license type and preferred arrangement in the application. We welcome applicants who are independently licensed in any state — we will sponsor licensure in one or more of our operating states so you can hit the ground running with a full caseload.

Compensation

LCSW, LPC, LMFT Pay:

$45,000 base + $70 / session incentive for completed sessions beyond the 17-hour baseline.

Hours & Expectations

Fully Remote:

20 contracted hours per week ( 17 completed direct care hours)

Core Schedule:

• All 20 hours anchored in peak core windows (after 3:00 PM weekdays and/or weekends; e.g., Mon–Thu 3–8 PM / 3–9 PM or Fri 3–7 PM).

The basics you’ll need

• Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in at least one U.S. state
• Willingness to obtain licensure in one or more of Blackbird's operating states (we cover the cost)
• Possess one (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
• Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
• Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet
• Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends

Salary Range$45,000—$105,000 USD
