Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN Cardiac Medical Intermediate 4B

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Nurses work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am rotations weekends/holidays Incentives: New Grad $2,000 Sign On Bonus -nightshift only

1-2 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $5,000- nightshift only

3-4 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $7,000- nightshift only

5+ years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $10,000- nightshift only

Education Assistance Tuition Reimbursement $2,000 per year

$30k in initial RN degree assistance

$3000 Relocation Assistance for full time only

Weekend Differential

Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am

Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential

Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential

New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $8.00 LPN

Qualifications: Education:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements

Experience:

Can be new or experienced LPN

Certifications: LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

The 4B Cardiac Unit, comprised of 31 beds, focuses on adult Cardiac patient, Drug loading, post Angio, CHF, vascular and medical patients. Shift schedules include days

), with weekend rotation every 2 weeks. Clinical skills include: Telemetry Monitoring Pacemaker/ICA Care Post Angio Care TR Band BiPap 5 Main Medication Drips

Physical Requirements/Demands:

Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds

Certifications:

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Certifications:

IV Certification.
