Project Manager, R&D

Stryker seeks an R&D Project Manager to lead moderate-complexity projects from initiation through completion in a hybrid role based in Cary, Illinois. The position involves stakeholder engagement, resource planning, risk management, and oversight of project timelines and budgets across the organization's product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in developing project charter, management plan, and Work Breakdown Structure
• Direct, manage, monitor, and control project activities from initiation to completion
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; analyze critical path and workstreams
• Establish sub-project budgets in collaboration with supervisor; monitor costs within approved parameters
• Identify, analyze, and develop risk management and mitigation strategies for projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Business Administration
• 4+ years of experience in R&D, project management, or related field
• PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2) preferred
• Experience in cosmetics, formulated consumer products, or pharmaceutical development environments
• Proficiency with project management tools such as PPM systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or Visio
• Ability to produce and interpret detailed project documentation and schedules

Compensation: $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual
