Senior Associate - Corporate Development

Responsibilities Opportunity Leadership For high priority initiatives, support the end‑to‑end process of framing, evaluation, and execution to bring the opportunity to fruition. Interface with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct analytics. Develop a business case. Evaluate contracts and lead or support negotiations. Coordinate with internal or external resources to execute the work. Support development of executive communications to update and/or seek decisions from governance bodies. Talent Development Support the hiring and development of talent to build a high‑performance growth‑oriented culture. Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and results‑oriented team culture. Special Projects Support the VP of Corporate Development on special projects as required. Qualifications Education Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. Work Experience Three years of experience in M&A, partnerships, transformation, strategy, strategic planning or related fields within large, complex healthcare organizations or academic medical centers. Experience in a leading strategy and management consulting firm (Senior Analyst, Associate or Consultant level) or in private equity or investment banking with a focus on health organizations. Experience leading or supporting strategy, M&A, partnerships and transformation projects for large, complex health organizations or similar companies. Skills Success in leading or supporting transactions, partnerships, strategy design, opportunity assessments, competitive analysis and business case development in healthcare. Exceptional analytical, financial and problem‑solving skills, with expertise in opportunity assessment and data‑driven decision making. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement and change management skills. Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and Word. Ability to influence at all levels and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience working in or with academic health systems preferred. Experience with analysis of the New York metro market a plus. Experience conducting advanced analytics using SQL, Python and R a plus. Reporting Structure & Location The Sr. Associate reports directly to the Vice President of Portfolio Strategy & Corporate Development. Role is primarily performed in person at MSHS Corporate Office with occasional visits to other facilities across the NYC Metropolitan area. Hybrid work may be accommodated as appropriate. Non‑Bargaining Unit, M8C – HSO Enterprise Corporate Development – MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital Compensation The salary range is $106,108 – $159,161 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, education and operational needs. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay or other compensation or benefits.
