Customs Director

Lead the Custom & Clinical Solutions business at this life-sciences company with full P&L accountability. Develop and execute long-term strategy for the custom diagnostics portfolio while driving profitable growth through cross-functional leadership and deep customer partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own Custom & Clinical Solutions business with full P&L responsibility and financial accountability
- Define and execute long-term strategy for custom portfolio with focus on profitability and growth
- Lead multidisciplinary team across business, strategy, and technical development functions
- Translate customer requirements into commercially viable solutions and lead executive negotiations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to transition successful custom projects into standardized products
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field
- 12+ years of leadership experience in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Biotechnology, or Healthcare
- Proven experience in Product Management, Business Development, General Management, or Strategy
- Strong understanding of diagnostics, regulated products, and pharmaceutical customer workflows
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional organizations and complex customer engagements
- Experience owning business performance and financial accountability
- MBA or equivalent business education preferred
Compensation: $176,000–$264,050 base
