Are you a Counselor, Social Worker, or Psychiatric RN looking for a flexible opportunity to use your mental health expertise without taking on a large weekly commitment?

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide onsite mental health services at the Wilkes County Jail in Georgia.

This is a great opportunity for a mental health professional who wants to make a meaningful difference while working up to just 2 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Provide onsite mental health care to patients within the correctional healthcare setting
• Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations
• Identify mental health needs and provide appropriate interventions
• Offer supportive counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient mental health needs
• Document services and maintain accurate clinical records
• Help promote continuity and quality of mental healthcare

This position is for onsite care only. No telehealth services are required or offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed or qualified Counselors
• Social Workers
• Psychiatric RNs
• Other professionals who meet QMHP requirements under applicable Georgia standards
