FLOOR TECHNICIAN (TAMU DALLAS) (PART TIME)

Position Details Title: Floor Technician (part‑time) Location: TAMU HSC Dallas Jn – 3302 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, TX 75246 (openings at other locations within the school district available) Schedule: Full‑time schedule; Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Full and part‑time availability with flexibility to meet most scheduling needs. Experience Required: 1 year as a Floor Technician and knowledge of floor‑care equipment. Pay Range: $15.00–$18.50 per hour. Perks: Same‑day pay, training and growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits package. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface. Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp‑surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
