Manager, Accounting & CFO Services

Our client is seeking a Manager, Accounting & CFO Services to join their team. This individual will work closely with clients across a variety of industries, serving as a trusted advisor while overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with strong client-facing experience. Key Responsibilities Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, operations, and industry-specific challenges Prepare and review client write-ups and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Review and prepare clear, organized working papers and supporting schedules Advise clients on transactional and operational accounting matters Assist with onboarding new clients and implementing accounting processes Prepare KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting packages for clients Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan preparation Train clients and internal staff on accounting systems and shared software applications Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while collaborating with internal teams Build strong client relationships and serve as a strategic business partner Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5–7+ years of progressive public accounting or outsourced accounting experience Prior experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS) or CFO advisory services is a plus Skills & Experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment Technology & Software Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct Experience with e-commerce, inventory, or SaaS platforms is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Navigate Search
