JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk 2 (RX Stock Order Entry) is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of customer orders into the computer system.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Timely and accurate keying of order requirements into the computer.
• Understand and can apply company promotions, policies and procedures in carrying out the order entry function(s).
• Recheck completed Rx’s for correctness before issuing to lab for processing.
• Match invoices and file as necessary.
• Maintain lab operating system software update/procedures manual. Also maintain work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
• Understand and follow all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and ensure compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
• Willingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude. Perform an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required and directed by supervisory personnel.
• Provide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attends in-house sponsored training meetings when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned to include but not be limited to “Frame Tracing”

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED or comparable work experience
• 2 years of experience working in a clerical setting
• Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key accurate typing
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with DVI software is desirable

Start rate $17.25; higher rate for more experience. Eligible for evening shift differential
