Compensation: $25 - $30/hr

We serve the North Shore with boutique locations in Lake Forest, Northfield, and Highland Park - combining today's medicine with yesterday's values. Every member of our team, from the front desk to the exam room, is part of the patient care experience.

Job Summary:
At Forward Focus, our front desk isn't just an administrative function - it's where the patient experience begins. As a Patient Services Coordinator at our Lake Forest office, you'll be the first face patients see and the first voice they hear. That matters here more than most places, because our patients aren't strangers - they're members of a practice built on genuine, personal relationships. We're looking for someone who brings natural warmth, steady composure, and a genuine care for the people they serve. This is a role where your personality is as important as your skills - and where you'll feel the direct impact of your work every single day.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients warmly and build lasting personal relationships, guiding new patients through onboarding
• Provide attentive phone support, schedule appointments, and conduct reminder calls for upcoming visits and annual physicals
• Maintain accurate patient records, process office visit fees, and verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Support the clinical team with scanning, emailing, faxing, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, calm demeanor
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred but not required
• A natural connector - people feel welcome and at ease around you
• Calm and patient, even during busy periods
• Proactive - anticipates needs and solves small problems before they become big ones
