Laboratory Technician

Position: Laboratory Technician – Busby Campus, Thurso Responsibilities: Provide high‑quality laboratory technical support for Research & Knowledge Exchange, commercial, research and teaching activities. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and related IT systems. Prepare sample materials, compounds and solutions. Maintain accurate records and undertake field work when required. Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Minimum qualification at HNC level or equivalent. Approx. 5 years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, procedures and relevant systems, equipment and processes. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, able to plan, organise workloads and work effectively as part of a team.
