GroundskeeperIAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions.Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.The Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance of grounds and construction activities.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for maintenance of shrubs, trees, lawns, planting areas, sprinkler systems, and area watering lines.Operates large power and field mowers, hand tools, and large vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activities.Schedules and coordinates irrigation and watering activities as required in assigned area.Trims and prunes a variety of trees and shrubs as required.Shovels and removes snow and ice from designated areas such as roofs, sidewalks, and entryways as required.Performs minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools as required.Education & Experience:Must have two (2) years' Grounds Maintenance experience.Must have knowledge of equipment, tools, and procedures of grounds construction and care.Must have knowledge of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides used in grounds care and gardening.Must be skilled in operating grounds maintenance and grounds construction equipment and tools.Physical Demands/Work Environment:Working conditions include dirty environment, extreme temperatures, lifts or carries heavy objects.Security Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI PolyIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC
