This role offers a clear career path for individuals interested in advancing within warehouse operations, logistics, and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks (as required by location)Pick, pack, stage, and load orders accurately and efficientlyPerform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying materials and documentationUtilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and product movementConduct routine inspections of equipment and report safety or maintenance concernsMaintain organization and cleanliness of work areas in accordance with safety standardsFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesCollaborate with team members to meet productivity and operational goalsSupport additional warehouse tasks as assignedQualificationsPrior warehouse or material handling experience preferredExperience using RF scanners and inventory systems strongly preferredAbility to operate material handling equipment (training provided where applicable)Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyMechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayFrequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pullingAbility to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to safely climb ladders or platforms as required by the roleAbility to perform repetitive motions such as grasping, handling, and scanningAbility to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and machineryCareer Growth & AdvancementPrimeSource Building Products is committed to developing our people and promoting from within.
