Manager II Engineering

Position Summary Manager II Engineering. Reports to Pulse Point location at 8600 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631. Requires in‑office 3–4 days per week as part of a hybrid model. Office hours Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm. Responsibilities Program delivery oversight and technical ownership of initiatives. Coordinate delivery teams on schedule, budget, and resource allocation to remove obstacles. Collaborate with vendors, internal partners, offshore partners, and business representatives for successful program implementation. Plan, direct, and control resources and initiatives across multiple teams as directed by senior technology leadership. Scope projects and ensure product delivery aligns with objectives. Manage multiple systems and/or application products of varying complexity. Assist with budget development and deployment. Respond to and resolve hurdles, maintaining collaborative relationships with key business partners. Partner with stakeholders to innovate new product enhancements or features. Evaluate directives, change orders, and projects for impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance. Oversee implementation of new subsystems, procedures, and techniques; manage integration projects to ensure deliverables. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports (approximately 20 employees). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field. Minimum five (5) years of related experience, including at least five years leading project teams. Experience in application software development, maintenance, implementation, and support. Experience with ServiceNow application, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket (minimum 3 years). Experience with Workday or PeopleSoft software (minimum 1 year).
