Job Information Job Title: Secretary Department Location: Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ 07112‑2027 Department: Advanced Heart Program Classification: Clerical / Administrative Pay Range: $20.39 per hour Status: Full-Time, Day shift FLSA Status: Hourly Job Overview In a busy outpatient department, schedule clinic appointments for multiple providers, maintain providers’ calendars, answer emails and calls, divert calls to appropriate staff, receive and relay messages accurately, update electronic records with pertinent documents, participate in overall telephone coverage on behalf of the Cardiology department, provide general support to patients and providers, and act as a point of contact for internal and external clients.
