Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is part of a float pool, providing support across multiple facilities within the region. The role requires adaptability to manage assignments that may vary between locations. A primary site will be given priority for most contract assignments, with the understanding that schedules can shift. Availability for both primarily weekend shifts as well as minimal weekend requirements is expected, making this role ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across various settings.
• Manage labor and delivery, including fetal monitoring and postpartum care.
• Float between facilities, adapting to each site's specific needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is mandatory.
• AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Two years of experience in labor management, delivery care, and postpartum care of mothers and newborns is necessary.
• Preferred certifications include Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE.
• Epic proficiency is essential for this role.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required for compliance with testing standards.

Additional Information

This position requires the use of the employee's personal automobile for travel to work assignments at multiple points of care. Candidates should be prepared for flexible scheduling, including the expectation that excessive requests for time off will not be accommodated.
