Our agency opened in 2022 and is a growing team of two with strong ties to the local community. I began my career working for another State Farm agent right out of college and opened my own agency shortly after, bringing a strong foundation and drive to build something meaningful. I’m a graduate of West Virginia University, married, and enjoy golfing and traveling in my free time. We’re very active in the community, supporting local sports and sponsorships, and have become a trusted presence in a small, close-knit area. For our team, we offer a Simple IRA, life insurance, reimbursement for licensing costs, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Our office culture is laid-back and community-focused, but still driven to succeed. We’re looking for someone who is resilient, confident, and not afraid of hearing “no” - someone who can overcome objections, stay motivated, and grow within a supportive, small-team environment. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Hayden Stewart - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
