Senior Motor Vehicle Technician

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

The Customer Care Section (CCS) responds to calls referred to the Director's Office and is often the final point of contact within the Department for customers whose questions and concerns are not encountered in the normal course of business. Our work environment consists of letters, phone calls, emails, and live chat. We are looking for a team member who has exceptional customer service skills that can assist in resolving customer issues in a time-sensitive manner by creating and exchanging content to assist customers in resolving issues over the phone, online through email or correspondence, or live chat. The incumbent should have working knowledge of vehicle registration and driver license programs and be familiar with departmental manuals, memos, website, internal communications, and control cashiering.
