Metal Framing & Drywall Foreman — Federal Projects Lead

Joining The Team JOB OPENINGS: Option to apply w/in "ZipRecruiter" Construction Project Manager Project Manager who has experience on federal construction projects with the specialty on the 8(a) program. Projects consist of renovations and/or ground up/base building ranging between $1M-$30M. This is a great opportunity to get on board with a local general contractor whose focus is the Government bases in the Hampton Roads area. Responsibilities Complete P&L responsibility of all aspects of the construction project(s). Negotiate subcontracts, manage costs, work with owner & architect, maintain relationships with government representatives, the A/E, and subcontractors. Projects mainly consist of federal but other projects may consist of commercial, higher education, healthcare, and/or schools K-12. Requirements Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of project management experience on vertical construction projects more than $5M. Experience representing a general contractor is required. Candidates should have experience with scheduling using either Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Experience on federal construction projects is required. Vertical construction experience is required. Design Build experience preferred. A construction or engineering degree is preferred. Construction Estimator Looking for an experienced estimator with a min. 5-10yrs experience. Complete knowledge on commercial & federal projects; Specialties, scopes, framing (heavy gauge metal), trusses, drywall, insulation, acoustical ceiling, EFIS. Must know Onscreen Take Off and Quick Bid. Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment. Team player & have strong customer relation skills. Responsibilities Processing of Submittals, Purchase Orders, Change Orders and RFI's Assist in Safety Compliance Assist in quantity take off of materials and preparation of cost estimates and proposals Review Project Schedules Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Quick Books Architectural and Structural Design Drawings interpretation and reading experience helpful. Team player with positive attitude, self-motivated, eager and willing to learn more responsibilities and handle multiple projects. Accuracy and speed are essential. General Superintendent / Supervisor General Superintendent / Supervisor with specialty on metal framing and drywall projects in the Hampton Roads VA area. Must be capable of reading and interpreting plans, specs, shop drawings, do layouts and understand the overall process from metal framing, install metal trusses thru finishing drywall. Coordinate crews, materials and equipment needed. Produce daily reports and Paperwork as need it. Good interpersonal skills. Able to enter to Military Bases. Spanish language skills a plus but not necessary. Capable to handle multiple projects. Drywall/Metal Stud Framing Foreman Foreman to supervise & manage metal framing & drywall projects. Capable of reading & interpreting plans, do layouts & understand the overall process from metal framing, installing metal trusses thru finishing drywall. Coordinate crews, materials & equipment needed. Produce daily reports. Good interpersonal skills. Able to enter Military Bases. Spanish language skills a plus but not necessary.
