Processing Utility (2nd and 3rd Shift)

Position Summary We are a leading pet food manufacturer in Denver, Colorado, with a strong presence since 1930. This role is part of our production operations, specifically the feed group for all production-based operator positions within Unloading, Dry Pet Processing, and Dry Pet Packing. Responsibilities Train on specific production equipment/machinery in a safe and productive manner. Provide support to operators in Unloading, Processing, and Packing. Run unloading, processing, and packing equipment, and serve as backups to operator positions in various departments. Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance / clean and inspect checklist for equipment. Effectively work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain a good flow of safety, quality, and production information throughout the plant. Operate a forklift as needed. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military, or related environment. Other Requires the ability to work 2nd and 3rd shift. Compensation and Benefits Competitive weekly pay starting at $29.53 an hour during the new hire probation period and increasing to $35.65 an hour after successful completion. The approximate hourly pay for this position is $29.53 . Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
