Join a prestigious health organization in Dallas, Texas, as a full-time Staff Physician for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based population-centered care in an innovative Value-Based Care Clinic. Engage in mentoring Internal Medicine residents within a collaborative academic environment focused on health equity, quality improvement, and community-centered medicine.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track.
• Supervise Internal Medicine residents in a clinic-based experiential learning environment.
• Teach residents about primary care, population health, value-based care, and health equity-focused practice.
• Participate in journal clubs, lecture series, and resident workshops to enhance educational initiatives.
• Deliver comprehensive Internal Medicine care within the Value-Based Care Clinic.
• Utilize evidence-based guidelines and value-based care principles to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with care managers, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and community partners.
• Mentor residents in quality improvement initiatives and health equity research projects.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME or AMA approved residency.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in appropriate specialty.
• Texas Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• Interest in resident education and academic medicine.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment.
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).

License and Certification Requirements

• Texas Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
