Job Opportunity: General Urologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Urologist to become a part of our Urology team at a critical access hospital located in Farmington, Maine.

The selected Urologist will join a well-established and expanding Urology practice within our network, collaborating with a full-time Physician Assistant. The Urology department in Farmington addresses a comprehensive range of adult urologic conditions. Our outpatient services feature urodynamic testing, advanced practice providers, and cutting-edge cystoscopic technology with fluoroscopic capabilities.

About the Hospital

The facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital that is part of a broad provider network, which includes four local adult primary care practices, all utilizing the Epic system. Additionally, we offer a full-service Emergency department, rehabilitation services, general and orthopedic surgery, OBGYN, interventional pain management, and various outpatient specialty practices. Our dedicated and skilled caregivers utilize advanced medical technology to fulfill the healthcare needs of the Franklin County area and beyond. This flourishing urology practice is set to take over the patient base of a retiring urologist who has specialized in HoLEP and attracts patients from across the state.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology.
• Experience in General Urology is preferred but not mandatory.
