Responsibilities of Pharmacists on the Centralized Service team include clinical review of prescriptions (drug utilization review, order entry accuracy checks) and working alongside pharmacy technicians while triaging/assisting patient phone calls. This position works at our Central Fill location for Nebraska Medicine and the office is located at approx. 114th and Dodge in Omaha, NE.(Also known as: Outpatient Pharmacist, Retail Pharmacist)We partner with our physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to provide the best Serious Medicine and Extraordinary Care available in the region. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining dispensing and maintenance of records. Provide direction and assist with organization of daily activities. **Required Qualifications:*** Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.* Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later) as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required.* Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients required.* Demonstrate basic computer skills and use of typical office equipment required.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Outpatient hospital pharmacy experience or retail pharmacy experience preferred.* American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.* Experience with hospital EMR and pharmacy applications preferred.* Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
