Specialist Master Data Management What You Will Do In this vital role you will be responsible for executing and overseeing complex master data management activities to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across Amgen’s operations. You will optimize and maintain MDM processes, manage large‑scale data migration and integration projects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data management practices with business objectives. Manage, maintain, and optimize master data processes, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of data across systems. Lead data migration and integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow between systems and platforms. Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and resolve complex data governance issues and operational challenges. Work with cross‑functional stakeholders on business processes such as change control, deviation support, and troubleshooting data‑related process issues. Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations, driving continuous improvement in master data operations. What We Expect Of You The Master Data professional we seek is an individual with the following qualifications. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of Master Data experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Master Data experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Master Data experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Master Data experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5‑6 years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations in a biotech manufacturing context. Master data knowledge in domains such as Material and Production Master. Experience leading data migration, integration, and governance initiatives across large‑scale operations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and process optimization. Functional Skills: Must‑Have Skills—Proven experience working with enterprise applications such as SAP/Oracle ECC or S4 HANA; proven experience with data management and end‑to‑end data governance; proficiency in MS Office tools and visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire; strong ability to lead data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry regulations. What You Can Expect Of Us The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
