JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Vice President of Ambulatory Operations (AVP) of the Beaufort Physician Partners (BPP) Multi-Specialty Medical Group provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for a growing network of employed physician practices. This role reports directly to the Vice President Physician Services of BPP and partners closely with hospital executive leadership, physician leaders, and administrative teams to ensure operational efficiency, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient experience across all specialties. The AVP serves as a key liaison between the health system and the medical group, aligning ambulatory strategy with broader organizational goals while fostering physician engagement and performance excellence.

Position Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION :

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration desired.
• Minimum of 5 years in medical group or ambulatory operations leadership.
• Experience managing multi-specialty physician practices preferred.
• Demonstrated success in financial management and operational improvement.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Experience working with employed physicians in the community practice setting as well as the application of physician compensation models
