Job Summary

The Meat Wrapper must provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures and performs a variety of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Stocks and merchandises both the fresh and frozen cases
• Prices products
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers
• Rewraps meat packages, as needed
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
• Ensures great customer service
• Maintains clean and organized pork rinds rack
• Keeps meat displays clean and presentable
• Stores cleaning supplies properly
• Advertises department products

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
• Experience working in a meat department, a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

The incumbent must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance.

• Ability to properly communicate with co-workers and customers
• Ability to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelines
• Multitasking skills
• Excellent customer service skills

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
• Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Disclaimer: Pay scale $15.00 - $20.03. The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics. Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training. The Company offers competitive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits to its team members. Team Members are also able to participate in the company's 401k plan that includes a safe harbor match.
