Position: Registered Nurse - Medicine/Surgical Location: Missouri, USA (On-Site) Role Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient health status through regular check-ups. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment options. Document patient records accurately and promptly in compliance with regulations. Assist in medical procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments. Respond to emergency situations swiftly, providing essential care and support. Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with hospital protocols. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results to guide care decisions. Monitor vital signs and report changes to the medical team. Oversee and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students. Stay updated with the latest nursing standards and practices. Engage with patients and families to build effective care relationships. Minimum of 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required * DOES NOT NEED TO BE RECENT ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri. Minimum of 1 years of experience in a medicine/surgical setting. Strong knowledge of clinical practices and protocols. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Crisis management and quick decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to cope with the emotional demands of the job. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
