Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support financial operations for a printing and publishing organization in Lynnwood, Washington. This Contract position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can oversee core close activities, maintain accurate financial records, and provide reliable reporting in a fast-paced environment. The role will work across general ledger processes, reconciliations, and audit support while helping ensure strong financial controls and timely month-end execution.Responsibilities:• Lead the monthly close process by coordinating timelines, reviewing entries, and ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.• Manage general ledger activity and maintain the integrity of financial data across key accounting functions.• Prepare, review, and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and adherence to accounting standards.• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.• Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules to provide clear and accurate reporting to leadership.• Partner with internal and external auditors by organizing requested documentation and responding to audit inquiries efficiently.• Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements that strengthen controls and streamline day-to-day operations.• Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting records, reporting activities, and system-based financial workflows.
