This role includes a combination of production floor presence and administrative support to help maintain accurate records, support safety initiatives, and assist in identifying and addressing workplace hazards. The position plays a key support role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities and programs throughout the facilityMaintain a visible presence on the production floor to promote safe work practices and identify hazardsConduct routine safety inspections and assist in identifying workplace hazards and unsafe conditionsAssist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-upAssist with employee safety orientations, training programs, and safety communication initiativesMaintain accurate EHS records, reports, and compliance documentationSupport PPE compliance, safety audits, and overall safety initiativesParticipate in audits, emergency preparedness activities, and continuous improvement projectsHelp ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety requirementsJob RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent required1-2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or EHS environment preferredBasic knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and risk assessment processesOSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hireFamiliarity with JHAs, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking preferredStrong organizational, documentation, and time management skillsGood verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support multiple activities simultaneouslyNote:This is a general description of the role – other duties and responsibilities can be defined and assigned by the role manager during the course of employment.Benefits:Medical, Dental, & VisionHSA/FSA Options401K with Company MatchCompany Paid Life InsurancePaid Time Off10 Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramVolunteer ProgramsEmployee Referral ProgramProfessional Development AssistanceEqual Employment Opportunity StatementYokohama TWS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
