We’re looking for a skilled and creative florist to join our team. It’s essential that you have familiarity with a wide variety of flowers and preparation techniques, from daily arrangements to complex onsite installations. You should also have excellent customer service skills, as some of your time will be spent working directly with our clients. We’re looking for a team player who’s motivated, detail-oriented, and who, most importantly, loves working with flowers.

What does this job entail?

• Designing high-end arrangements according to client's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials
• Delivering event florals to customers as needed, occasionally on weekends.
• Coordinate e-commerce and special orders
• Performing office and retail service duties such as merchandising, serving customers, answering telephones, and receiving payment
• Performing general cleaning duties in the store to ensure the shop is clean and tidy
• Being adaptable to a flexible work schedule that requires occasional weekend and holiday availability as needed

Are there any specific requirements?

• Colorado Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
• Must be able to climb ladders to high onsite installs
• Must be available weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Possess 1-2 years of floral design experience in a retail flower shop or weddings/events.
• Ready to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of fresh floral products and design techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility, punctuality, teamwork, and cleanliness
• Be willing to travel and possess reliable transportation; occasional overnights for out-of-town weddings and events
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Dove POS knowledge a bonus!
