Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role assisting physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and provide procedural support that contributes to timely, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting in Tucson, AZ.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• Must have Cath Lab hospital experience. (Client requires prior cath lab experience.)
• Willingness and ability to scrub and monitor for invasive cardiac procedures including angiogram and PCI; experience with complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, peripheral) preferred.
• Experience with STEMI coverage required.
• Familiarity with mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP) expected.
• Ability to perform monitoring/recording on MacLab; willing to train on MacLab use.
• Knowledge of cath lab supplies and ability to restock procedure rooms.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred. American Heart Association preferred.
• State licensure as required by Arizona.

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural heart procedural experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• RCIS certification is not accepted by this client; ARRT is required.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600–1630.
• On-call requirement: approximately 9–10 shifts per month and one weekend per month.
• Primary duties include scrubbing and monitoring procedures, sterile technique, device support, and room restocking.
• Must be able to provide STEMI coverage and use/support Impella and IABP devices.
